Tuition is a yearly fee that can be broken into 10 monthly installments. Tuition rates vary depending on the amount of time students are taking class each week. There are family discounts given to families with more than one child attending. There are also discounts given for dancers taking  multiple classes. Please contact Happy Feet for more specific rates. Absenteeism:
If a student misses a class, there is no refund given. However, students are allowed to make-up the class in another comparable class. Please contact the office to find an appropriate make-up class. Inclement Weather:
Families should call Happy Feet one hour prior to the start of their student’s class in regards to inclement weather (snow, sleet, ice, dangerous driving conditions). If Windham has cancelled school for the day, there will be no morning classes. Families should call Happy Feet to see if the school will be opening for the afternoon. Should Happy Feet cancel classes due to weather, students are welcome to take a make-up class. It is the responsibility of the parents to schedule a time to bring them. There is no refund given. Drop/Add Class:
If a student drops/adds a class, the office needs to be informed immediately. There is no refund given for money paid in advance or in full. If the office is not informed, billing will continue. Class Viewing:
Our students’ families are able to watch all classes in their entirety by viewing the monitors in the lobby. This enables everyone to observe classes without distracting our students. Performances/Recitals:
All students are welcome to participate in our end of the year recital (in June). Students are not required to participate. However, most students choose to participate. Our recitals are 75-90 minutes long making it comfortable for everyone to view the show(s). This is a very positive experience for our dancers! They are able to show their families what they have learned and feel like a star! We also offer opportunities to perform through the Fancy Feet Performance Company. Students must be enrolled in the Fancy Feet Program in order to participate. If interested, please contact the director for more information. Class Size:
The size of the class depends on the age of the students. All preschool and elementary aged classes have a minimum of two instructors in the class (a lead instructor and an assistant instructor).
Dress Code:
Tiny Tots and Creative Dance I: Leotard of dancer’s choice, pink tights and pink ballet slippers, skirt/tutu(optional). Creative Dance II and Kinder Kids: Leotard of dancer’s choice, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and tan tap shoes, skirt/tutu (optional). Ballet: Leotard of dancer’s choice, pink tights and pink ballet slippers, skirt/tutu (optional). Jazz and Hip Hop: Leotard of dancer’s choice, tan or black tights, fitted jazz pants or shorts (optional). Classes for ages 6-11 should wear tan jazz shoes; classes for ages 12+ should wear black jazz shoes. Tap: Leotard of dancer’s choice, tan or black tights, fitted jazz pants or shorts (optional). Classes for ages 6-11 should wear tan tap shoes; classes for ages 12+ should wear black tap shoes. Contemporary and Tumble: Leotard of dancer’s choice, tan or black footless tights, fitted jazz pants and shorts (optional).
