About Us
Happy Feet Dance School, LLC opened its doors in 2005 with a handful of classes per week, hoping to share a love of dance. Since its inception, the school has grown to be facility serving hundreds of families on a weekly basis with over 40 classes to choose from. The school takes pride in giving back to its community through various community events and sponsorships. Happy Feet Dance School is thrilled to be recognized by many as "the friendly dance school!" They are honored to have the opportunity to watch their students grow into beautiful dancers, as well as people. The studio believes that dance education can be a prominent part in helping to develop children into confident, happy young adults.

Philosophy
Happy Feet Dance School believes that every student has their own unique potential and should be encouraged to reach their own, personal goals. They use an educational approach, in a child focused facility, where student's abilities can be nurtured through a positive, supportive environment. They offer a comprehensive dance program that was designed based on the various stages of child development.

Mission
Their mission is simple. Happy Feet Dance School believes that everyone can dance! It is their goal to create a fun and welcoming environment where all students can learn, gain confidence and have fun while growing a love for the art of dance!

Meet the Staff
The staff at Happy Feet Dance School is comprised of a professional, adult group of dance educators who bring enthusiasm and the love of dance to their classrooms. The instructors also continue to educate themselves in dance through regular attendance at conventions, classes and seminars. Additionally, Happy Feet is very lucky to have a wonderful office staff and many student volunteers who help with the day-to-day operations in the office and the classroom.

MISS ERICA  •  Studio Owner & Director

Happy Feet Dance School is owned and operated by Erica O’Donaghue. Erica has extensive dance training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. She also holds a multitude of college credits in early childhood and elementary education, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in business. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America, Inc. by successfully completing oral and written exams. She is also a member of More Than Just Great Dancing, an international affiliate program that aligns studios with a higher standard of dance education and management principles.

Erica has been working as a professional dance educator for over 15 years. She founded Happy Feet Dance School, LLC in 2005 and instructs students from the age of two through adult, beginner to advanced. She has received many bouts of recognition for her work with children. Her of love of children and her passion for dance make every child’s experience an enjoyable one.

MISS ANDREA  •  Instructor

Miss Andrea has received extensive training in Ballet, Modern and Jazz from some of New England’s finest instructors. She started working at Happy Feet in 2005 as a teacher in training. This gave her hands on training with students of all ages and levels in multiple forms of dance. Once she completed her training, she quickly grew to be a well respected member of the Happy Feet team! Her students are drawn to her fun personality and inventive choreography.

MISS TARA  •  Instructor

Miss Tara has been studying dance for over 30 years at various studios throughout New England. For 16 years, she's been teaching Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She has performed roles in Alice In Wonderland, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker with the Ballet company Dance Prism. Miss Tara has also had the opportunity to perform with the SRO players and at the Celtics half time show. She has also choreographed for performing and competitive dance teams. Her Hip Hop choreography has been awarded top teen and junior high score overall awards. She has also had the pleasure of choreographing a Hip Hop piece that was performed at Walt Disney World. Miss Tara is very dedicated to the art of dance and is excited to spread her knowledge to her students.
 

MISS SAMANTHA  •  Instructor

Miss Samantha began her training in 1992 at Dance Concepts in Pelham, NH where she studied jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and ballet and was a competitive dancer. She earned her Bachelor of Art in Dance from Keene State College. She has passionately taught Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary in the New England area for over 6 years. She's currently back in school studying Nutrition, and hopes to work with dancers of all ages and abilities on the best ways to fuel the body to further their artistry. Samantha began her time at Happy Feet Dance School in 2005 as an assistant, and is so excited to continue as an instructor to such wonderful and passionate dancers!!
